Overview

Lanai Marketing is a boutique marketing agency in the live events industry, committed to delivering unforgettable experiences to the audience of our diverse Client roster of artists, venues & promoters. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Marketing Coordinator as a Contractor. This role is perfect for someone passionate about live events, possessing a strong skill set in social media management, copyrighting, graphics, and grassroots marketing.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) to increase engagement and reach.

  • Create and curate compelling content, including graphics, videos, and posts, to promote events and engage with audiences.

  • Monitor social media channels, respond to audience inquiries across several different pages and brands.

  • Provide reporting

Copywriting:

  • Craft persuasive and compelling copy for marketing materials, including event announcements, press releases, social media calendars and promotional emails.

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.

Graphics:

  • Photoshop or Illustrator is not required; the majority of artwork and graphics are managed via Canva Pro and a handful of phone Apps.

  • Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, promotional materials, and online advertisements.

  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple brands (Artists, Venues & Promoters)

  • Basic knowledge of Canva or ability to quickly learn

Grassroots Marketing:

  • Implement grassroots marketing initiatives to reach local communities and niche audiences

  • Identify and establish partnerships with influencers, local businesses, and community organizations to expand event awareness.

Administrative

  • Manage various adminstrative tasks as assigned such as mintaining file system, organizing contacts lists, updating project management databases, tracking outreach, etc.

  • Maintain a well-organized system for assets, files, and communication records.

  • Track and report on the progress of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Able to manage multiple projects, deliverables, deadlines or clients at once

Efficient Work Habits:

  • Demonstrate a proactive and results-oriented approach to marketing tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.

  • Proactively address challenges and contribute creative solutions.

Strong Communication Skills:

  • Clear and concise communication with team members, vendors, and partners.

Detail-Oriented:

  • A meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of marketing to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging, branding, and visuals.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • One to three years of Marketing, Advertising, Agency or Social Media Management experience. 

Personal Laptop and Cell Phone:

  • Candidates must have access to their own reliable laptop, cell phone & wifi.

Availability

  • The position requires 15-20 hours per week, and while flexibility is provided, it is essential to be available for some daytime hours, as the role involves timely calls, outreach, and announcements. 

  • Required availability varies but often falls between 9am - 3pm CST, Monday - Friday
